We were just passing by and needed a place to eat. What a delicious surprise. Excellent food, outstanding customer service. We'll definitely go back again.

What an awesome way to spend Canada Day at the Black Tartan Kitchen in Carleton Place for Canada's 150th! Thanks to Chef Ian Carswell Wicharuk and what a pleasure it was to watch the fireworks from your back deck. Very special!

Probably the nicest restaurant in Carleton Place. Wonderful to see someone take the plunge on "fine casual" dining in this town. I really do hope it lasts. The regualar menu is wonderful, and you should also come by for the Sundays-only brunch menu.
